This website is designed to meet the needs of the migrant communities in Europe. It integrates useful learning and training materials, financial information, good practice examples, contacts, networks, links and data in partner countries’ languages for migrants and the wider general public. Our main target groups are not only migrants, but also professionals working with migrants in educational and social fields, adult educators, language teachers and the general public. This website is created as a database of useful information on financial issues and a resource of learning and training materials for both self-study and educational purposes. It is organized to fulfill YOUR needs.
LEARN ON YOUR OWN!
The Learning Materials section provides language learning tools: useful phrases and simulations. Furthermore, one can find the downloadable ‘Migrant Integration Kit’ and country specific tips regarding financial services and forms, job related issues, social financial benefits, general banking, exchanges and transfers. This section equips migrants with social survival phrases, and some information about relevant local customs and practices.
The Training Materials section provides useful materials for professionals working with migrants in social and educational fields, adult educators and language teachers. A downloadable ‘Materials for Training Migrant Financial Language Skills’, as well as program and methodology to organize workshops for migrants , can be found in this section. Videos and examples of implemented trainings guarantee a better understanding of both materials and the methodology behind it.
LEARN FROM GOOD EXAMPLES!
The Good Practice Examples section includes good practice examples from all project partner countries. Trainings carried out in NGOs, financial, educational and social institutions are introduced. In addition, summaries of good practice examples in different languages are made available.
CONNECT TO MIGRANTS’ SOCIAL NETWORKS!
The Migrant Community Representatives section is an extremely valuable resource for both migrants residing in respective countries and the ones just planning to immigrate. Contacts of the representatives of the migrant communities in different countries are listed in this section.
SATISFY YOUR CURIOSITY!
The Links section provides useful information on other international projects and networks on languages and integration, financial institutions, dictionaries, migrant communities, research sites and other external resources invaluable both to migrants and professionals who work with them.
